Pricing: scoped to the build, not picked off a menu
Dobify does not publish a flat price list, because a single-process automation and a multi-role CRM are worlds apart. Every project is scoped in a free 30-minute audit that ends with a written estimate and an ROI projection, before you commit to anything. Below: what moves the number, and cost guides with market figures.
A flat quote given blind protects the seller, not you: it has to assume the worst and pad for it, or assume the best and creep later. We wrote about that trap in the CEO's guide to AI agencies. Our answer is to scope first: the free audit maps the process, counts the integrations and volumes, and produces an estimate split into milestones, with the assumptions written down. The cost guides in this section do the other half of the job: they collect the market figures (tool subscriptions, API fees, per-conversation charges) with sources and dates, so you can sanity-check any quote, including ours, against what the components actually cost. Guides are in production; the solution pages meanwhile list the cost drivers per system in their FAQs.
What moves the number
Six factors set the price of almost any build we do: how many systems and integrations are involved; how much custom AI and design sits inside; your usage volume (conversations, agent runs, data sources), which drives the ongoing cost; the hosting model, where self-hosted n8n means a flat infrastructure cost and SaaS platforms bill per task; whether the engagement is a one-off build or includes running it; and the rollout timeline. The audit walks through all six for your case and shows how each one moves your estimate.
What every quote includes
A Dobify estimate is split into 2-3 week milestones, each ending in working software, so you can stop at any point and keep everything shipped so far. The quote covers the build, a tuning period on live traffic, documentation and a full handoff: the repository, the workflow instances, the data and the infrastructure are yours. Third-party costs (model APIs, WhatsApp conversation fees, hosting) are listed separately and billed to your own accounts, so you see them, not a marked-up bundle.
Cost guides are in production: AI chatbot cost, WhatsApp Business API pricing, custom CRM cost and more.
FAQ
Frequently asked
How much does an AI chatbot cost?
It depends on the channels (web chat, WhatsApp, Messenger, a phone number with Voice AI), your conversation volume, how deep the CRM and calendar wiring goes, and the number of languages. The running cost tracks API and conversation volume: WhatsApp, for instance, bills per conversation. The free audit turns those variables into an exact number for your case.
What does business automation cost to run?
On self-hosted n8n the running cost is flat: infrastructure from roughly €5 a month for unlimited executions. SaaS platforms bill by usage instead, with entry paid plans around $9-20 a month and costs that climb with task volume. Our comparison pages carry the current per-plan figures with sources and a checked date.
Why not just publish a price list?
Because the honest answer to "how much" is "what exactly, at what volume, wired into what". A menu price would either overcharge simple projects or hide padding for complex ones. Scoping first, in a free audit, produces a number that survives contact with the build.
Is the audit really free, with no obligation?
Yes. Thirty minutes, and you leave with a written map of your biggest bottleneck, the system that fixes it and an ROI estimate, whether or not you hire Dobify afterwards.
Which process is costing you the most?
Book a free 30-minute audit. We map your biggest bottleneck, estimate the ROI of fixing it, and show you exactly how to fix it, whether you hire Dobify or not.
